Greetings all. I hope all is well.
I wanted to give you an update on where things are with Combat Snuggles, and what’s next for me and for this newsletter.
I wrote my first newsletter on April 24 of last year. In the nearly 11 months since then I have written 234 posts, almost all over 1500 words. This newsletter has been a nearly daily exercise. And I have loved doing it. It helped get me through the first year of the pandemic. And the support I have received has been overwhelming. I thank each of you for that.
And as wonderful as it has been, my work on the newsletter (and you know, having 5 kids) hasn’t allowed for a lot of space for other things. Other writing projects particularly.
And I have one. I have been working on a novel off and on for … ever … it feels like. And I have recently had my desire to finish it rekindled. And that is where I will be putting my writing efforts through the summer at least.
As a result, this newsletter will be going on hiatus. It won’t be going away. You can still find old posts on the web. And I will be checking in with you from time to time with updates on the book, or maybe a special message. At some point next fall, I may restart a more regular publishing schedule. I may not. Such is the mystery of the future. :-)
For those of you who are paid subscribers (THANK YOU!) your billing will be suspended, and when the newsletter resumes you will have the same amount of time remaining that you have today.
I will still be sharing life updates, random thoughts, and small scale writing on social media, so feel free to reach out to me on your preferred platform if we aren’t already connected. My username on all sites is CombatSnuggles.
Again, thank you so much for your support. And I hope that you will read the novel when it’s finished. I look forward to connecting with you on social media.
And I will see you here every now and then.
In the meantime…
Be well, y’all. And keep pounding the rock.
Awesome!! Good luck...and put me on the wait list of early readers for the book!
This is so exciting!!!
