I sincerely hope that you are enjoying this newsletter. It has been a joy to share with you every day. And there is part of me that would do this for free because of the joy it gives.
There is another part of me, however. And that part is continuing to heal and grow and become the person I hope to be. And that means knowing that what I do has value. That *I* have value. It means being willing to honor my labor and my time.
That means asking people to spend money. And I am actually really uncomfortable with that. I am the guy who dreads the annual pledge drive on NPR every year. And. I also want to respect myself and the work that I do.
This newsletter is a labor of love. But it is labor. I work hard every day to produce content that you will enjoy, and that will make a difference in your life.
