The last week had a lot of ups and downs for me. This week may be more of the same - you never know what will happen until it happens - and I am prepared for that. I am hopeful it will be better though.
I am heading to Maryland to visit Matthew. Timing and circumstance meant we were unable to get tickets to the ACC Tournament in person, but we will still be able to see it together. It is always… an experience… when we get to watch games together.
The homefront rests in Barb’s expert hands. It seems lately that the primary skill requirement is nursing - in addition to Justin’s lingering sinus issues, Lizzie has developed a pretty rough infection that kept her bedridden all weekend and will keep her out of school at least today. So pray for us if that’s your thing at all.
As for the newsletter, I am taking a week off. I’ll return on March 13 with a new essay.
Until then, have a wonderful week. I hope your highs and lows find balance and that you find some space to call your own. And if you are cheering for a team in the ACC Tournament, then I hope it’s Carolina cause we need all the help we can get.
See you next week.
Be well y’all. And keep pounding the rock.
