This week felt like the official end of spring break and the return to something approximating normal. I am not sure that “normal” is a phrase that ever really applies around here.
We had a wonderful break. Barb was able to take an extended amount of time off work and Justin ended up being out of school for nearly two weeks. We went to the library, the North Carolina Zoo, the Museum of Life and Science, SkyZone, and even flew to Texas to see the eclipse. We had a family movie night (we watched Up) and had an Easter egg hunt with Theo (and his mom and dad).
In the midst of all that I had a pretty significant anniversary, and wrote about it.
It has been a very full couple of weeks.
