Theo Alexander
Greetings all. This will be an abbreviated version of the weekly update. Lots has happened this week, and there is lots to comment on.
And, frankly, a lot of it feels pretty remote right now.
Earlier today, December 8, 2022, at 3:30AM, Theo Alexander Chrisco was born. Theo is the first child of my first child - Alex - and her husband, Justin (we call him Big Justin to distinguish from our Justin).
That means I am a grandpa now. And that feels weird as hell to say. It feels weird as hell to be. And I am still making sense of all of it.
So for this week, that’s the update. Theo is here. He is doing well so far, as are mom and dad. In an amazing turn of fate, Big Justin was able to return home from his deployment on Tuesday night. He made it home just a few hours before Alex felt her first contractions.
He was still wearing his combat boots.
So many things to share. And I will share all of them. For now, my focus is here. I will update the newsletter again soon.
