Two Paths

PROGRAMMING NOTE: Next week I will be heading to Atlantic Beach for a family vacation. My next post should be out on Tuesday, August 15.

Justin and I went hiking a couple of days ago. 

As we were walking down the trail, we came to a place where it split. I told him to look at the trail markers to decide where to go next. He looked for less than a second and then turned to me. “I don’t know,” he said.

Me: (sighs) Actually read the signs Justin. You know where we are going, so think about the names of the trail and choose. (one of the trails had the name of our destination)

Justin: (sighs even more dramatically than me) Dad, whichever path I choose I know that we’ll have fun, so we should just go.

Me: Okay, Justin. I’m following you.
